U-PVC, or also known as UPVC, is a very tough, ultra-violet and weather resistant material. Windows using U-PVC are made with steel reinforcement making them extra tough. Since U-PVC and double glazed glass are both strong and durable materials, windows made from these are virtually maintenance free. Timber windows and doors will eventually split, swell, rot or distort and metal windows and doors absorb temperatures enormously and transfer heat or cold into the house.
